Winn Solicitors' Lexcel Accreditation Secured

Winn Solicitors has been awarded the Lexcel accreditation for the ninth consecutive year.

Winns was subject to a rigorous inspection but passed with flying colours to highlight our excellent standard levels in relation to legal practice management.

Associate Director – Head of Group HR and Office Management Michael Warmington and Group HR Manager Colette Gardner gathered the relevant information, which was supported by numerous staff interviews.

Of the company’s reaccreditation, Michael Warmington said; “This is a fantastic achievement set in the back-drop of an unprecedented set of circumstances, the likes of which no company has experienced before. To not only rise to the challenge, but receive superb feedback on our way to achieving the Lexcel accreditation is testament to the hard work of all those involved.”

The assessor, when revealing her decision, commented; “Winns have come together [and] delivered best practice during unprecedented times…the accreditation team have done a superb job and should be very proud of their achievements.”

“This is all the more remarkable against a backdrop whereby, just prior to the audit, approximately 50% of its workforce had been furloughed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic which clearly caused a logistical challenge.

“Last year the assessor made the comment that the firm had ‘quality, spirit and the ability to work together’ and these traits were certainly evident in abundance during this assessment.”
