Team Winns take on Cobalt Duathlon

Winn Solicitors are limbering up to take on a new kind of challenge, with two of our team members limbering up for the Cobalt Duathlon.

Mick Davis and Michael Kealy are stretching and climbing into their best spandex to take part in the inaugural event which will be held at the Cobalt business park in North Tyneside on Sunday 10th May.

As part of the challenge they'll each be tackling a 5km run and a 20km bike ride before undergoing a further 5km run to the finish line.

One of a series of duathlons and triathlons that will be taking placing throughout the summer months, the Cobalt Duathlon is sponsored by Winns Cycling and is the latest sporting challenge to be presented by Total Racing International in aid of local charity The Sunshine Fund.

Winns and Total Racing International are hoping that the Cobalt event will get novices excited and involved whilst giving professional athletes a chance to set a new personal best.

Proceedings begin at 7am, with Paralympic athlete Stephen Miller starting the race, and we'll be there to cheer Mick and Michael on towards the finish line!
