Winns Shortlisted for Three Awards

Winn Solicitors is delighted to have been shortlisted in three categories for the Personal Injury Awards 2020.

The awards ceremony will be held virtually this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and offers an opportunity for those involved in personal injury claims to celebrate notable achievements, people and companies within the industry.

Winns has been shortlisted in three areas:

• Claims Management Company of the Year
• Catastrophic Injury Lawyer of the Year – David Burn
• Claimant Lawyer of the Year – David Burn

Speaking about the company’s Claims Management Company of the Year nomination, Chief Operating Officer Chris Birkett expressed his delight.

He said; “Winns is extremely proud to have been shortlisted in the category of Claims Management Company of the Year at the Personal Injury Awards 2020.

“In what has proved to be a challenging year for all, the group has continued to invest in all areas of the business whilst improving on its service offering to all its customers.”

David Burn, a Solicitor in the Serious Injury Department, has been nominated individually in two categories, with Jo Amos, Associate Director – Head of Complex Claims, happy to see his hard work getting recognised nationally.

“David has made his mark at Winns and has helped many clients who have suffered life-changing injuries following an accident. His diligence and work ethic have led to notable compensation awards, which ease the burden for clients who need on-going care and support.”

The award winners will be announced on Tuesday, 1st December with the evening getting underway at 7pm and accessible via a live online stream.
