LPC Success for Quartet

Four of our staff enjoyed success at the end of their LPC courses, with outstanding results achieved by all.

Sarah Hepple, Lydia Sevenoaks, Joe Lythe and Amrita Grewal all passed in fine style, with Amrita receiving a commendation.

Associate Director and Training Principal Jo Amos was full of praise for the four Winns employees. She said; “I’d like to congratulate the four on their significant achievements. They have all put in a lot of hard work and effort and have been rewarded for that.”

Upon hearing the news, Joe commented; “One of my favourite parts was doing civil advocacy. I felt this was relevant to what we do at Winns and I have always enjoyed advocacy throughout university. I also enjoyed studying some drastically different areas of law such as mental health and employment.”

Sarah was delighted to pass the course, which took two years as she studied part-time for it. She said; “I did the LPC alongside my Training Contract, which was challenging but highly rewarding. After many years of studying, it is a big achievement to have completed the LPC and it has helped towards reaching my goal of qualifying as a Solicitor in September.”

Amrita also had to juggle work and study but was happy to continue her journey towards becoming a solicitor. She said; “Winns was really supportive. I was able to work part-time to complete the LPC and was given study leave for my exams. The highlight of the LPC was graduating; the toughest part was balancing the work load with work.”

Lydia was delighted to finally complete this part of her training. She said; “The feeling on completion is brilliant, especially knowing that you no longer have to juggle studying and revising alongside work. I’m excited to start the next chapter.”
