Christian Butler Joins Winn Solicitors as New Head of Family Law

Winn Solicitors welcomes Christian Butler to the new role of Head of Family Law, as part of the company's expansion into new sectors of law due to launch next year.

Christian has extensive family law experience, is recognised as a Rising Star in Family Law in the recent Legal 500 rankings and was named an individual “to watch” in the recent Chambers and Partners rankings.

Advising clients on all aspects of family and matrimonial law, Christian regularly acts for high net worth clients in disputes arising from divorce and separation involving complex assets, pensions and property portfolios, as well as advising in relation to children matters. He also has expertise in pre and post-nuptial agreements, emergency injunctions and protective orders, along with assisting unmarried couples to resolve their financial disputes.

Clients praise Christian’s empathetic yet practical approach, giving him a worthy reputation for professionalism, compassion and dedication to pursuing the best outcome.  One previous client commented; "He is so thoughtful, thorough and just never stops working - you feel you are his only client."

Christian’s role as Chair of the Young Resolution (YRES) Committee in the North East of England supports his ambition to promote a non-confrontational approach to divorce and family legal matters.

Winn Solicitors is also delighted that Christian brings with him his secretary, Sally Bentley, to aid the company expansion into family law.

Chris Birkett, Winn Group Chief Operating Officer, announced Christian's appointment to Winn Solicitors saying;

"We are delighted to welcome Christian to Winn Solicitors as part of our strategic move into the family law sector. In Christian, we have a lawyer with extensive, relevant experience and an excellent track record, as demonstrated throughout his career. We look forward to working with him, with the aim of establishing Winn Solicitors in the family law sector."

Christian added;

"I am delighted to be joining Winn Solicitors to develop the Family Legal Service. In particular, I am looking forward to building a strong team to deliver exceptional service and expert advice to clients across the country, and beyond.  With the assistance of cutting-edge technology and efficient processes, clients will be provided with clear pricing and much-needed cost funding options.  My aim is to make Winn Solicitors the ‘go-to’ firm for all family law related matters."
