Is there a time limit to make a construction accident claim?

Yes, in order to reach a settlement for a construction accident, you must make your claim within three years. Do I get paid if I get injured at work?

If you have suffered from an accident at work on a construction site then, yes, you should be entitled to subsequent pay. Some companies offer occupational sickness payment plans, the terms of which will be outlined in your contract of employment, along with the monthly amount payable. If your company does not have such a scheme, then you will still be entitled to a statutory sick pay (SSP) of £94.25 per week (before tax) for up to 28 weeks if you are unable to work for at least four consecutive days.
