Winn Solicitors Can Help You with Your Arm Injury Claim

When you are involved in an accident, an arm injury can leave you unable to carry out day-to-day tasks and can force you off work with significant disruption to life.

If the accident wasn’t your fault, then you can make an arm injury claim with Winns to get the compensation and support you deserve post-accident.

Can you make a claim?

You are eligible to make an arm injury claim if you have been involved in an accident on the road, in a public place or work environment, that wasn’t your fault. Providing that it took place within the last three years, you can contact Winns and start the claims process today.

How to make an arm injury claim?

Beginning the process of making an arm injury claim is simple. If you want the help of an experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated team who can make the necessary arrangements to help you on the road to recovery, there are a number of ways to contact us.

Before getting in touch with your insurance provider, call our team on 0800 988 6288 (available 24 hours a day), or use Live Chat (available 7am - 7pm every day) to speak to someone immediately. A member of our team will be on hand to talk through any questions you might have and provide expert guidance on the process of making a claim. If you’d rather receive a call back at a time to suit you, leave your details with us, via the form on the right (or at the end of this page if you’re on a mobile device), and we will get back to you.

Who can make a claim?

Those who have been involved in an accident that wasn’t their fault can make a claim with Winns, if they are seeking compensation for an injury, help with treatment and/or support with sourcing a replacement vehicle. As long as the accident took place within the last three years, you can make a claim through Winns.

Who do I make the claim against?

When making a claim for compensation for a broken arm, you are claiming against the third party that caused the accident, but generally their insurance provider will provide them with indemnity and deal with any claim on their behalf. It is then the insurer who would be liable to pay any costs incurred if they accept liability.

Types of arm injury

Here at Winns, we deal with a range of injury claims and can help should you be involved in a non-fault accident. The context of these injuries is more specific – they must be as a result of an accident that wasn’t your fault, in a road traffic accident, or in a public place or workplace environment – but we specialise in these cases and can offer expert advice, guidance and support throughout the claims process. As an example, we can help if you’ve suffered one of the following arm injuries in an accident:

  • Muscle damage
  • Tendon damage
  • Tennis elbow
  • Broken hand or fingers
  • Broken bones, including the humerus and radius
  • Broken or damaged wrist
  • Amputation below the elbow
  • Amputation above the elbow

I was involved in a car accident in which I was crashed into from the back whilst stationary. I rang Winns that evening and they started the ball rolling immediately. The accident happened at 5pm on a Monday and by 3pm on the Wednesday my damaged car was taken away for repair and a hire car arrived within half an hour of my car going. I was referred for physio within the week for neck, shoulder and arm pain. Without Winns, and the efficiency of what they do, I didn't know where to start, who to speak to or anything so I'm glad I chose Winns as they have [taken] care of everything. They certainly were a good help and took away any worries I had and kept me reassured and up to date with everything that was going on.
